Haley’s spring senior portraits in took place at one of my favorite field locations in Moberly! This location never fails to impress. It is has sooo many different options for portraits especially for seniors! We took a new path to route around the mud and happened up on the most glowing light. Our original session date got rescheduled due to rain. Missouri’s spring weather has been crazy lately especially with these spring storms. You start the day with nothing in the forecast and then BAM an hour before our session it starts pouring. I hate having to reschedule, but in our case it ended up working out perfectly. She pick the most gorgeous day. It was sunny with just enough cloud cover and we had no wind!!
When we started Haley was telling me how awkward she was at taking pictures. And yes I admit I have photograph some clients who take a little bit more time to become comfortable in front of the camera. Haley was not one of them, she was an absolute natural! Not even five minutes into the session you would have never known that she hasn’t modeled before. She had this ability to smile genuinely and then have a straight face within seconds. Which made for the best dramatic shots. Wrapping up our session I spotted an abandon pallet across the way. Then those creative juices started flowing. Those images ended up being my favorite from Haley’s spring session.
Thanks to all the moisture and rain we were both covered in ticks by the end of her session. I feel like that is the only downfall of taking pictures in tall grassy fields.
Haley: Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your spring senior portraits!!! Your smile is stunning. You are going to do AMAZING things!!
